Essay: Chinese traditional food

Introduction:
Chinese traditional food is any of several styles of cuisine originating in the regions of China. There is a great variety of chinese traditional food in which vary according to their region of production, ingredient and manner of preparation. What are the chinese traditional food?
Thesis statement:
There are three examples of chinese traditional food, such as chinese noodles, chinese herbal soup and chinese dishes.

Topic sentence1:
Chiniese noodles is one of the chinese traditinal foods.
Supporting detail 1:
Chinese noodles are generally made from wheat flour, rice flour or mung bean starch with the addition of salt, water, eggs or lye depending on the desired taste and texture.
SD2:
After the formation of a pliable dough mass, there are many mechanical processing to produce the noodles, such as cut by knive, extruded to form strands of noodles, sliced, pulled to form thinner and longer strands, and kneaded until it is several centimetres long and spindle shaped.
SD3:
To cook the noodles, it can be fresh (moist) or dry forms. They are generally boiled, although they may also be deep-fried in oil until crispy. Boiled noodles may then be stir fried, served with sauce or other accompaniments, or served in soup, often with meat and other ingredients.
Examples are Char Kway Teow, Laksa, Ban mian and others.

The traditional food also includes chinese herbal soup.
SD1:
it is a traditional soup in which the ingredients are from parts of herbal plant such as roots, trunks, branches and others, which is good for general health.
SD2:
The most common herbal ingredients are American ginseng and red dates. They function as supplements vital energy and body fluid and helps to remove heatiness and treat insomnia. For Angelica root/ dang gui, it is a vital herb for women. It replenishes blood and regulates menstruation.Besides that, they also boost the immune system to fight against the diseases, improve in circulation of blood in the body and enhance sleep.
SD3:
The soup is prepared by, first, boil water for the chicken. Next, put the herbal ingredients inside the soup. Then, the favouring or season is put into the soup depending on the desired taste. Cook the soup by control the temperature and in a specific of time to get a nice savour.

There are many chinese dishes that are the traditional food.
SD1:
The first type is chinese dumplings, such as steamed or boiled dumplings, soup dumplings, fried dumplings, Dim Sum and streamed bun.
SD2:They are usually prepared by the cuisine of streamed, boiled and fried methods with the ingredients of flour, salt or sugar, water, chicken meat, etc.
SD3: For chinese pastry, they are made in a variety of tastes, such as mooncakes which is eaten during Mid-Auturn Festival, tang yuan for eve of chinese new year, fried pancakes and flaky baked or pan-seared dough pastry.

Conclusion:
There are a variety of chinese traditional foods. Most of them are prepared in many ingredients and different types of methods in chinese cuisine.
